Bay Area public auctions

Government auctions, straight from the agency.

County tax-defaulted property sales and public surplus (trucks, vans, equipment) in the nine Bay Area counties, in one place. Every date comes from the agency's own notice, and every listing links back to it.

Coming up

Sales with announced dates. Register and pay any deposit before the deadline the agency sets.

Vehicles and equipment, ongoing

Agencies sell surplus trucks, vans, trailers and equipment year-round through these official channels.

Property sales: next date not announced yet

Counties usually announce tax-defaulted property sales about a month ahead. We check each county's page weekly and add the date when it's posted.

Auction alerts

Why only official sources

Auction listing sites often copy each other, and dates go stale. We read the county or state agency's own page, note the date we checked it, and link you straight to it. The auction sites agencies use get a link so you can bid, but we never take dates or details from them. Before you bid, always read the agency's terms of sale. Tax-defaulted property is sold as-is, and the agency's rules and deadlines are what count.
